This policy covers the Build Data app. The brief builder on this website works the same way: it keeps your brief in this browser and opens your own email app to send it.

It covers the Build Data app for Android and explains what happens to the information you enter in it.

The services and prices in the app

The data sources, results, indicators, prices and pictures are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and do not reveal anything about you.

What you write about your data

For each data source you write its type, how many files or accounts it has, how often it changes, how tidy it is and, if you like, a name. The app never opens, reads or copies the files, programs or accounts you describe.

Address for a visit

If you ask for a visit, the brief includes the address and neighbourhood you type. They stay on your phone until you send the brief.

No account, no cloud copy

The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.

No internet access

The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.

Calling us

When you tap Call, the app opens your phone app with our number filled in. The call is made only if you start it.

How we use a brief you send

A brief you send reaches us through the channel you used. We use it to arrange the first call, to prepare a proposal and to confirm the price and the time.

Ask us directly how long we keep messages and briefs.

Your choices and rights under Colombian law

You can edit, duplicate or delete saved briefs at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone.

Under Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012) you can ask BUILD DATA SOLUTIONS SAS to know, update, correct or delete the personal data you sent, and you can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. Send such requests to [email protected].

What this notice covers

The notice covers the app on your phone: the services and prices, the brief you build, saved briefs and the ways the app hands a brief to you to send.

When you write to or call us, what you send is handled as described in the section on how we use a brief.

The brief you build

Your type of business, the number of people, your goal, the results and indicators you choose, the first call you ask for and your notes form the brief. The app keeps the brief you are working on, and the briefs you save, on your phone.

Your name and contact details

To let us reply, a brief can include your name, your business name, a phone number and an email address. You type them yourself; only the way of replying you choose is needed.

Where your data is stored

Everything you enter is stored in the app's private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.

Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup.

What the app does not collect

The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

Sending a brief by email

When you tap Email, the app opens your own email app with the brief written in it and addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you press send there, and from then on the email is handled by your email provider.

If a project goes ahead

If you go ahead with a project, the data we work with, how it is handled and when it is deleted are agreed with you in writing before we receive any of it. The app is not used for that exchange.

Changes and contact

If the app changes how it handles data, this notice is updated in a new version of the app and on the website, with a new effective date.
